Julie Goff, COO at HireBrain, is an intrapreneur turned entrepreneur with a career at the intersection of people and technology. She has led technology initiatives of varying sizes and scales – at the enterprise level and 0 to 1 launches. Throughout her work, she remains ever curious about how technology can help make us more, not less, human.
HireBrain is a B2B SaaS platform uniquely designed for hiring managers to assist in the ever-challenging work of planning roles, hiring talent, and building efficient teams with accuracy and reliability. HireBrain leverages AI to help enterprises create role-specific profiles, effective and equitable job descriptions, interview guides and more.
Before HireBrain, Julie led a portfolio of education technology initiatives at Davidson College (in partnership with edX) – and later helped build, launch, and lead the college’s first-ever hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. She spent eight years at Bank of America leading integration projects for four different acquisitions and later spearheaded consumer education initiatives during the foreclosure crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked as an independent consultant with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library to help them deploy federal relief funds to build wireless residential networks in neighborhoods with less than 30% household connectivity.
Julie is a Davidson College (Economics) graduate and a licensed attorney in North Carolina. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her golden retriever, Remy Sage. On the weekends, you can find her gardening in her backyard or hiking a waterfall trail in the Blue Ridge mountains.
