Dr. Hleziphi (Naomie) Nyanungo

Associate Provost for Learning and Teaching Innovation @ West Chester University

Dr. H. Naomie Nyanungo is the Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning Innovation at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she provides strategic leadership in initiatives to promote, support, and celebrate excellence in teaching. She strives to promote educational equity through nurturing learning environments where students of all backgrounds and situations feel valued and supported to thrive personally and academically. Prior to joining WCU, she served as the Director of Educational Technology in the Center for the Advancement of Teaching at Temple University. In this role, her focus was on promoting purposeful, ethical, and responsible integration of digital technology to enrich pedagogical practices and learning experiences. Dr Nyanungo holds a PhD in Adult Education from Pennsylvania State University.
