Ben Johnson Co-Founded Freya Systems, a data analytics and custom software firm focused on the utilities, defense and commercial aviation industries.

Ben oversees the company’s growth and emerging markets.

Before founding Freya, Ben achieved success in a variety of assignments for BAE AeroSystems International.  While assigned to the Boeing account, Ben led a total of 7 projects and most notably increased the client’s project account by 50% in a six-month period.

Ben is an accomplished team leader and software engineer with experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle.  He is also a specialist in customer requirements gathering, data-design, business process analysis and user experience design.

Ben prioritizes continued learning for his team and himself.

He completed the rigorous Goldman Sachs Small Business 10K Voices program and continues to work with them to advocate for the needs of small and micro businesses.

When not in the office, Ben enjoys cycling, trail-running, hiking, travel as well as playing and occasionally building guitars.
