Kimberly Burress is the AVP and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and a health care leader for over 20. In her role as CNIO, Kimberly has a portfolio of services that includes Nursing Informatics, Biomedical Engineering and the Technology Training team. As a health care leader, Kimberly combines her knowledge of nursing, patient care, informatics concepts and change management to effectively address the information and knowledge needs of healthcare professionals and patients to promote safe, effective, and efficient use of health IT in clinical setting. Kimberly has been a featured speaker at several conference including the Epic User Group Meeting (2018), Tech Girls (2015 and 2016), and the GE Healthcare Conference (2006 & 2007).
